A Woman of Authority
A Woman Of Authority
A woman of authority, yet under authority. A soldier, under command, not a renegade under compulsion. Only orders she follows, no room for her personal emotions, private endeavors or political persuasion. What He says, it is so. Where she is sent, she goes. Followers, be it one or a legion, she will lead and care for.
A woman of authority: a judge, a magistrate ordained to administer justice. Her power is to show mercy and give grace. Her court is not to be trifled with. You may be found in contempt, be fined, face her wrath and feel the force behind her position. Yet, the place she is found standing in is of favor undeserved, a debt no one can pay.
In the grand scheme, I am one subjected to the highest authority. While on earth, I will occupy, administer, steward, and exercise the power given to me until He comes. And he will surely come with ten thousand of His saints to execute judgment and convict the wicked (Jude 1:14).
I am that woman of authority and under authority. I must be strong for the weak until they learn to renew their strength. I must be courageous and encourage those who lose hope that there is a brighter day ahead. It is my duty to remind them the Almighty God is with us. It is my obligation to love and to stand for those who need help and compassion. I am a soldier, and I must resist the kingdom of darkness and push it by force. I must pray to be kept safe and sound under the day of redemption, for I am sent to spread an aroma across the earth.
Let it be so!
