Good News
Burdened by the endless cycle of nonsense and negativity, we have become wearied of this world. Many are so bound by the perpetual struggle and the fear of never getting it right, they fret about life itself, and all its travails. At every turn, we are surrounded by violence, ignorance, intolerance, and chilling selfishness. We see those who place their fleeting pleasures above the well-being of others, who believe their ambitions and lust for power justify the oppression of souls. More than angry, many are weary of their sheer impotence to combat evil and put up a meaningful resistance against the powers that be.
It may seem bleak, but there is good news: we are not meant to carry this weight. We need not bear the burden of the world, the heavy yoke of daily routines, the constant struggle for provision, healing, and self-improvement. We need not endlessly reach for a noble cause or try to prove that we care for the abandoned and defenseless. Jesus invites us to bring every burden to Him and let Him handle it. He hears the cry of the oppressed and remembers them.
The truly good news is this: God did not send an angel or a servant to deliver us. He came Himself, so that we might know abundant life and be truly free. He came to give us the knowledge we have been seeking since the dawn of time.
It is good news indeed when every need is met with a divine answer. It is good news when a shattered heart can be mended, and our lives and destinies can be fully restored—not by our striving, but by simple faith and surrendered obedience. We simply must take Him at His word, bringing our burdens, casting our cares upon Him, and allowing Him to grant us rest we so desperately need.
Let it be so!
